Native endangered mallow

Monday night planted a new one to the native flowers area, Iliamna remota (Kankakee Mallow). It's an interesting plant that is endemic currently to only one small island in so-called Illinois.

Prairie moon sells seeds but is out of stock: https://www.prairiemoon.com/iliamna-remota-kankakee-mallow-prairie-moon-nursery.html

I found some live plants on etsy, presumably grown from prairie moon seeds. There's a species that probably represents other places its seen in so-called Virginia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iliamna_corei

Lots of good stuff in this survey done in the aughts: https://thekeep.eiu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=&httpsredir=1&article=1136&context=bio_fac

One thing that I noticed when I was planting these is my bed is thick with garlic sprouts, some of them seem to be 4-6in tall already. I don't know if it's the elephant garlic or the regular garlic. Hope will do something to keep underground predation from happening. But 3y of work on this spot has made the soil very loose and pretty rich. I hope not too rich for the mallow.
