Caught by properly harnessed and leashed domestic predator in my patio garden. While I was having an intense discussion with said predator about whether she could bring the mouse inside, it escaped.

Discovered a fresh mountain lion cache on my property, so I put my trail camera on it overnight. As expected, it returned! It dragged it a short distance, ate some more, and covered it up better than it had been.

My apologies for the graphic photos, but this is too cool! Found a fresh lion cache on my property very close to my home, and was able to track the drag marks over 100 feet down the side of the dirt road. You can see where it settled and plucked the hair a few feet away, then later dragged it under the tree. Going to put my trail camera tonight to see if the lion comes back tonight. 😁
