I am a keen amateur naturalist - love getting out walking with my camera and my daughter, looking for everything from bugs and fungi to birds and the few mammals NZ has. Largest, most amazing creature interaction would have to be swimming with humpback whales in Niue but love finding unusual tiny creatures as well.

In my spare time I eco-source seeds and grow on native plants to be used in the reserve areas of my local village, Kinloch, on the shores of Lake Taupo
