I am a Miami native and a long-time naturalist for Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces. Since 2006, I have been stationed at A.D. Barnes Park, Crandon Park, Bill Sadowski Park, and now Deering Estate (since Nov 2014). Outside of leading birdwalks and surveys, I have also participated in shark tagging (2003), bird of prey rehabilitation (2002-2006), sea turtle nest surveys (2010-2013), Gopher Tortoise (Gopherus polyphemus) surveys (2022), and migratory songbird banding (2012-current). rangelsaurus@gmail.com
