About this event

Join a Forest Service Ranger to learn how to identify the trees on the Stanislaus National Forest. We will look at samples and then take a walk to look at trees.

June program will meet at the Pinecrest Community Hall and then we will head to the Shadow of the Mi-wok Trail to identify trees near Meadowview Campground. Flat but uneven terrain through the campground and towards Shadow of the Mi-wok Trail.

August program will meet at the Pinecrest Amphitheater. ADA Accessible.

Bring water, a hat, and wear sturdy walking shoes. All Ages.

Now is your chance to join the Forest Service staff of the Stanislaus National Forest to learn about the natural and cultural history of Sierra Nevada mountains.
