The collection project is part of the course Coastal and Marine Mycology at the Chincoteague Bay Field Station in Wallops Island, VA during Summer 2024. Students will be observing and collecting fungi found in the mid-atlantic coastal region, focusing on maritime forests, barrier island ecosystems and marine ecosystems.
