I noticed this western fence lizard, out in the open, moving in a strange fashion. Upon closer inspection, I observed a nut shell over the poor reptiles head. It was really wedged on there but with some effort I removed the offending helmet and Mr/Ms llizard immediately ran for shelter. Yay!
