Observer Bryden Coghlan, a TAMU student on a fishing trip in Bastrop, saw what he thought looked like three River Otter moving along the Colorado River bank in Bastrop, near a boat launch in the Colorado River Refuge. He wasn't able to get a picture of the animals, but he went over to the area they were seen and took pictures of the tracks. He sent them to me, and I identified them as Northern River Otter. I also sent the picture to TPWD mammalogist, Jonah Evans, who confirmed the id.
