Growing on Acer circinatum twigs. Foliose lichen with blue green algae and marginal isidia. Pseudocyphellae and wrinkles are on the upper surface.
Was not on any substrate. Fell from a nearby tree branch.
Found under the canopy of a dense pine forest. The mushroom grew on the ground which was covered in a thick layer of pine needles. The cap was sticky and the stem had mixed white and yellow coloring. A gelatinous see-through veil was still present.
Found high up on a Populus trichorcarpa. Growing on a branch halfway up a Pseudotsuga menziesii. A foliose lichen with marginal soridia and a pruinose texture. does not look similar but it is the only Hypogymnia with a P+R medulla chem result.
Growing out of a crevasse in the side of a Pseudotsuga menziesii. Evenly rounded gilled mushroom with a Squamose cap and tomentose cap margins that are decurved. The stipe has a volva sheathing, and the entire body is light orange and sticky. The gills are close to the stalk.
