Found on prairie with brakens fern, moss, and a pine leaf litter with Douglas fir above. Weather was sunny and 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit with frost in the early morning.
Plant Associations: moss, pine trees, and scotch broom.
Habitat: mossy soil in open area, temperature 47°.
Elevation: 354 ft

Weather: cold overcast day after light rains. Near freezing temperatures night prior.
Habitat: riparian zone growing on possibly red cedar branch.
Plant association: Thuja plicata, vine and big leaf maple overstory with salal and snowberry nearby
Key features: looks like a bird's nest. Perithecia only present in one of the obtained samples; light brown and cream. Parchment color edges of nest with dark brown inner walls. Ring pattern at base of cup. Growing gregariously across what seems to be a cedar branch.
Found on a dry day, in a mixed forest area behind the comm building. It appeared to have fallen and there were lots of ants nearby.

Found growing on a rock on a lava field. Evergreen huckleberry and moss growing nearby.
Weather: Clear day with no clouds.
Habitat: Found on bark of medium sized tree (not sure). aaq
Found in backyard on Douglas Fir Bark, found on several trees so doesn't seem uncommon. Trees are in an open and sunny area.
Haven't finished IDing yet but do know it's a Cladonia!
