We found this alligator lizard while on our nature walk. It was fairly large, about 6 inches long. It was shade of olive, green, white, and a reddish brown. These colors combined to form an intricate pattern on its back

Thirst flowers were growing near a small steam. The plant itself was about a foot tall and the flowers were about an inch tall. They were a vivid bluish purple and had an intricate design coming from the base of the pedal, which led me to think they were Douglas irises

I saw this snake slithering through some grass near a trail. It was fairly large, but I was never able to see the whole thing. I was only able to get one picture before it left but the coloring and stripes made it easy to identify

This bullfrog was in a large pond with several others. They were very spread out and were all croaking. I was able to catch this one. It was very large, about a foot head to toe with its legs out. It had an irregular spit pattern and was olive green
