For my third hike, I went to Lake Chabot and went along the West Shore Trail. When hiking along Lake Chabot, it was around 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit. It felt hotter than the listed temperature. Along the way, I found various plants like snakeroots, plumeless thistles, and the prickly sowthistle. I saw few animals, mostly birds, and a couple of big birds.

For my second hike, I went to Mt. Diablo. I drove up Mt. Diablo and hiked up the rest of the way up until about 1400 feet up. When at Mt. Diablo, it was quite sunny and it was around 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. During my time at the hike, I found many plants like the California sage brush, pacific poison oak and the gray pine. Although I wasn't able to find moving organisms, I was able to slightly see tiny birds in the trees up at Mt. Diablo.
