I have worked outdoors as much of my life as possible. Have been involved with the Equine Industry, Cattle Industry, Agriculture - Hay farming and vegetable gardening most of my life. I hold a Texas Nursery/Floral certificate. I am a Johnson County Master Gardner. My property is a registered Monarch Waystation -certificate no. 44402 and a Certified Wildlife Habitat. I live in suburban Johnson County - there are new homes going up all around our area. I have 18 acres just outside the city limits. I have made the changes necessary to qualify the property for a change from Ag to Wildlife exemption. My property will be a perfect place for Songbirds and Butterflies (as well as the other animals) to have a peaceful and safe sanctuary. I am currently enrolled in Texas Master Naturalist Classes with the Rio Brazos Chapter.
