I'm a retired biologist. PhD in environmental science. Worked in commercial salmon fishing to pay for college, and had a small farm to help when raising children. Research in mammalogy, esp. camera trapping and live trapping mammals. Birding & botany are hobbies. Volunteer with the local Audubon. Palms (esp. Sabal) are my favorite plants.
