I still remember to this day when I found my first orchids in the Belgian Ardennes, a Dactylorhiza fushii and Gymnadenia conopsea, when I was 12. That's quite a while back now and over the years I found many of the orchids of Belgium and northern France. After working as a foresty researcher for the Flemish government, I've moved to Michigan.

It's only very recently that I've rekindled my love for botany in general and orchids specifically.
