I am a project of @conniewalker, which has been dedicated to the observation of birds in the Leipzig area (city + countryside) and northern Saxony since 2020. Together with @interspecies_society, I am now investigating the development of biodiversity on the grounds of the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst, where various microhabitats have been created by Interspecies Society since May 2023 and various plantings have been made.
Our project is called: GfZK Biodiversity

From October 1st 2023 : Connie Walker will enter her observations in the project exclusively as LeipzigBirds to avoid duplication.

Leipzig Birds as an Instagram account is supported by numerous bird photographers.

Ich bin ein Projekt von @conniewalker, das sich seit 2020 der Beobachtung von Vögeln im Raum Leipzig (Stadt + Land) und Nordsachsen widmet. Gemeinsam mit @interspecies_society untersuche ich nun die Entwicklung der Biodivesität auf dem Gelände der Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst, wo seit Mai 2023 verschiedene Mikrohabitate von Interspecies Society angelegt und verschiedene Pflanzungen vorgenommen wurden.

Ab 1. Oktober 2023 : Connie Walker wird ihre Beobachtungen im Rahmen des Projekts ausschließlich als LeipzigBirds eintragen, um Dopplungen zu vermeiden.
