I'm a biology student working in global change ecology. Birds introduced me to nature, but nowadays I'm taking photos of anything that can be identified.

I'm a big fan of this platform as a hobbyist, but I also use it for work sometimes too. I am currently conducting research on milkweed yellows phytoplasma, and am attempting to use iNaturalist to amass new information. If I've added phytoplasma-related observation fields to your milkweed observations that's probably why! Would love to be tagged on any unusual milkweed observations.

The vast majority of my iNat-ing is done on foot or via public transit, and I encourage others to do the same!
